On 26 September .mobi will open to all eligible applicants. Prior to open registration there are two Sunrise phases to enable industry members and trademark holders to register .mobi domain names and protect their intellectual property.

Trademark Sunrise (June 12 - 22nd September 2006) - Eligible registered trademark owners can register their Trademarks as .mobi domain names. Trademarks must be of national effect and comply with the registry policies.

Landrush (Starting 26th September) - For all registrations during which desirable .mobi domain names may be registered at a premium price.
