.mp Sunrise applications being accepted
Friday, 8 October 2004The .mp Registry has commenced the Sunrise registration period for eligible trademark holders.
The Sunrise period is open from July 26, 2004 until September 30, 2004
Open public registration start date is yet to be advised.
While .mp is the top level country space for the Northern Mariana Islands, .mp has been marketed as being devoted exclusively to the Wireless Web or Mobile Internet (.mp = mobile phone).
Eligible applicants are holders of un-expired trademarks or service marks having national or multi-national effect (for example, European Community Trademarks), issued prior to July 26, 2004.
