Unofficial co.dk registrations open in Denmark

Registrations of the secondary TLD .co.dk is currently being offered in cooperation with the registrant of the domain name co.dk. A sunrise period for such registrations prioritizing trademark holders and holders of familiar brands to register .co.dk is in force until November 11, 2004. From this date registrations of .co.dk will be offered on a first come first serve basis.
As this TLD is not assigned neither by ICANN nor by the Danish registry DK-Hosmaster, Cogent does not recommend such domain name registrations as the quality and regulations surrounding this TLD cannot be controlled. For domain name disputes under this TLD, the UDRP set up by Dansk Internet Forum Organization; DIFO, cannot be used and such disputes must be solved in court.
