Landrush to begin for .mx on 1 September 2009

The Landrush period for .mx will start on 1 September 2009 and run through 31 October 2009 enabling general registration of .mx top level domain names.

NIC.MX will be charging a high registration price at the beginning of Landrush then gradually lowering the fee through the period. Considering the high price of registration the potential of infringement abuse for this domain is considered to be minimal.
