MuseDoma takes over .museum

ICANN, setting standards for the web’s address system, is letting the non-profit organization MuseDoma (Museum Domain Management Association) take over the control of the new domain name for museums .museum. The new domain name is to be released and fully functional by early November. This domain, together with four other of the seven new domain names, is a so-called “limited-use” domain name only for the use of people and companies involved with museums.
