.travel pre-authentication continues

Designed to serve the global travel and tourism community, .travel started the third party pre-authentication period August 22, 2005. This period will close September 25, 2005. The first land rush is then scheduled to start in October.

Melbourne IT recently announced that it is one of the first Domain Name Registrars to be accredited to register .travel domain names by Tralliance, the .travel domain name registry.
